Halsey Taylor HAC8SS-WF Refrigerated Filtered Single ADA Water Cooler, 8 GPH, Stainless Steel

Why We Recommend the Halsey Taylor HAC8SS-WF

The Halsey Taylor HAC8SS-WF wall-mounted water cooler combines refrigerated performance, filtered water and accessible mechanical operation in a corrosion-resistant stainless steel configuration. Front and side push bars allow activation from multiple approach positions, while raised lettering assists users with visual impairments.

The refrigeration system supplies up to 8.0 GPH of chilled water under rated conditions. The Halsey Taylor Double Bubbler projects two separate streams that converge to create a fuller drinking stream. A large backplate provides additional wall coverage and can simplify alignment during compatible rough-in and replacement installations.

Best Applications

This cooler is well suited for schools, offices, healthcare buildings and other indoor public facilities that need chilled, filtered water from a durable single-station fixture. When mounted at the manufacturer-specified height with the required clear floor space and reach range, it supports an ADA-compliant installation.

Quick Tip

Record the cartridge installation date and replace the filter at 1,500 gallons or the manufacturer’s recommended time interval, whichever comes first. Actual service life depends on water consumption and incoming water conditions. Complete the required flushing procedure after installing a replacement cartridge.

Common Question

What is the difference between the Halsey Taylor HAC8SS-WF and HAC8SS-NF?
The HAC8SS-WF includes WaterSentry VII filtration, while the HAC8SS-NF is supplied without a filter. Both are refrigerated stainless steel coolers, but the filtered model requires periodic cartridge replacement and sufficient service access for filter maintenance.
