The touchless sensor activates a 1.5 GPM filling stream and automatically stops dispensing after 20 seconds. Laminar flow helps fill bottles with minimal splash, while the Real Drain System directs excess water away instead of allowing it to collect in the alcove. The Green Counter tracks the estimated number of 20-ounce disposable plastic bottles avoided.

Certified filtration: The included 3,000-gallon filter is certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of lead, Class I particulate, chlorine taste and odor. A visual filter monitor with an LED status indicator helps identify when cartridge replacement is needed. The 55898C WaterSentry replacement filter is available separately for scheduled maintenance.
Surface-mounted flexibility: This configuration is designed for applications with limited wall cavity depth and can be paired with a compatible remote chiller when refrigerated water is required. Silver-ion protection helps inhibit mold and mildew growth on treated plastic components.
Non-refrigerated configuration: A water chiller is not included. Without a compatible remote chiller, the HTHBSM-WF dispenses filtered water at the temperature supplied by the building. Confirm the wall structure, water pressure, drain, electrical requirements and available service clearance before installation.

Common Question

Does a surface-mounted bottle filler still require a drain?
Yes. The HTHBSM-WF uses a Real Drain System to carry away spilled and residual water, so a properly sized and positioned waste connection is required. The surface-mounted design reduces the wall-depth requirement, but it does not eliminate the need for coordinated water, drain and electrical connections.
