Expert Insight

Why We Recommend the Oasis 041253-007

The Oasis 041253-007 VersaFilter III Universal Filter Kit provides the components needed to add point-of-use filtration to Oasis POU water coolers. Its compact filter design combines carbon with specialized filtration media to reduce lead, cysts, chlorine taste and odor, sediment, dirt, and rust while helping inhibit scale and corrosion. The system is certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for up to 4,750 gallons.

Best Applications

The 041253-007 is well suited for Oasis point-of-use water coolers that were not originally equipped with filtration or require a complete VersaFilter III retrofit. Its small footprint is useful where space inside the cooler cabinet is limited, while its high dirt-holding capacity and 4,750-gallon rating can help reduce the frequency of cartridge changes in frequently used offices, schools, clinics, fitness centers, and public facilities.

Quick Tip

Before installation, identify a secure mounting location with adequate clearance for connecting the water lines and replacing the cartridge. Follow the supplied instructions for installation and flushing, inspect all connections for leaks, and record the installation date and meter reading. The automatic shut-off valve in the filter head helps simplify future cartridge changes by engaging as the filter is inserted or removed.

Common Question

Is the Oasis 041253-007 only a replacement cartridge?
No. The 041253-007 is a universal retrofit kit intended to add a VersaFilter III filtration system to Oasis point-of-use water cooler models. It includes the components required for the initial filtration installation. If a compatible VersaFilter III system is already installed, order the specified replacement cartridge rather than another complete retrofit kit.
