Halsey Taylor HVR8-S Refrigerated Vandal Resistant Single ADA Water Cooler with Louver Screens, 8 GPH, Stainless Steel, 8250080S83

Why We Recommend the Halsey Taylor HVR8-S

The Halsey Taylor HVR8-S is a refrigerated, vandal-resistant water cooler engineered for demanding commercial and public environments. Its stainless steel cabinet withstands frequent use and resists stains, while tamper-resistant fasteners, protective louver screens and a one-piece bubbler help protect critical components against abuse and unauthorized access.

A hermetically sealed refrigeration system provides an 8 GPH chilling capacity. The vandal-resistant bubbler features a chrome-plated integral hood guard that helps protect the outlet from contamination and tampering. Mechanical push-button activation allows water to continue dispensing during a power interruption, although active refrigeration requires electrical service. The wall-mounted unit supports an ADA-compliant installation when mounted according to applicable requirements.

Best Applications

The HVR8-S is a strong choice for schools, parks, recreation centers, transportation facilities, correctional settings, warehouses and other high-traffic locations where durability and chilled drinking water are priorities. It is rated for indoor or outdoor use when properly installed for the environment.

Quick Tip

Confirm the required mounting height, wall support, electrical service, water supply and drain locations before installation. For outdoor applications, verify weather exposure and local freeze-protection or winterization requirements. An outdoor-use rating should not be interpreted as freeze resistance unless the selected configuration specifically states that feature.

Common Question

Will the Halsey Taylor HVR8-S dispense water during a power outage?
Yes. Its mechanical push-button bubbler can continue dispensing water without electrical service. However, the refrigeration system requires power, so the water will not remain actively chilled during an outage.
